International School for
High-Energy Nuclear Collisions (SCHOOLNP2011)

Motivation:

The Helmholtz International Center for FAIR and the Institute of Particle Physics will jointly host an International School for High-Energy Nuclear Collisions during the week of October 31 - November 5, 2011. The location for the school will be at the College of Physical Science and Technology, Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China. The school will be held just before the next International Workshop on Critical Point and Onset of De-confinement (http://conf.ccnu.edu.cn/~cpod2011/) which will be held during November 7 - 11, 2011, at the same institute.

The focus of the school will be the QCD phase structure. Related theoretical ideas and recent experimental measurements will be discussed systematically at the school. The structure of the school consists of senior lectures and junior talks. The time for each lecture will be one and a half hours including discussions.

Young scientists and students from all countries may attend the school. Limited funds are available for participant whose application is approved by the school organizing committee, and who is currently working as phD student or post doctor. There is no registration fee to be paid.
